We stayed here whilst visiting Gosport to see my family and friends. The rooms were clean, comfortable and just what we needed as a base. We booked and paid online which was easy to do. The staff were wonderful and very friendly, incredibly helpful with nothing too much trouble. It is easy for any chain to be cold and unfriendly but here, they are the complete opposite. Highly recommend.
I stay here quite often with work. Always have a nice night and breakfast. The staff are always nice and polite. As a bonus, if it is a little quiet during breakfast, you might catch wind of the workplace gossip while you eat if you sit remotely close to the kitchen. Parking is sometimes an issue if you arrive around 6pm as the car park is shared by a pub, gym and an icerink. Having said that, I've never not found a space even though it wasn't next to the door.

We visited this weekend for a family wedding enjoying a 2 night stay. Staff are friendly, everything is calm and relaxed, my only gripe would be the lack of air conditioning. Otherwise, more than happy with the service and stay. Had a glitch woth the bill but it was all resolved almost instantly. Will definitely return should we visit again.
Absolutely cracking place to stay. We were only there for 1 night but would definitely book again. Clean, comfortable, handy transport, good food and Fosters lager ๐

Went here for a quick drink in the bar about lunch time after a walk through the park. I had a rose wine and my sister had a cider. Nice, friendly staff and we were served fairly quickly. The place generally could do with a new coat of paint and the furnishings here need to be brightened up a bit, otherwise a pleasant visit and hopefully we will return.
Very friendly staff who are helpful and very quiet location. Food is to a very high standard. Thank you

Huge venue aimed solidly at the 'sports scene'. Very bright and airy feel that makes you feel very comfortable. Friendly and welcoming staff and friendly locals. Plenty of tables and seating...albeit the seating is very grubby, stained and torn...obviously the bored locals, pick or cut holes in it and peel of bits of wallpaper to alleviate said boredom??? Free WiFi and car park. Certainly worth a visit if you are in the area'.. if you can ignore that furniture? Maybe it's time for Green King to invest in a major refit?
Lovely chain pub with decent priced meals and drinks. Little on the larger side compared to traditional pubs in the area, but that certainly isn't a bad thing. Nice quaint garden area as well with TV's for the football ;)

I love this place, i frequented this pub years ago as a growing man. It's quirky but has a great appeal. The food is great and it's lovely to eat whilst looking through the window over the harbour towards ports down hill. The staff are fantastic. My partner and I have a love for the Jolly Roger as our haunt and a place to eat and chat . Book a table to be sure and you won't be disappointed.
We first visited back in Dec 2017, it was lively and full of atmosphere and life and dog friendly which is a huge thumbs up. We visited recently and it really feels like it's being run down to it's end. All the lights inside were turned off, on the top level to the right of the bar it might as well had been boarded up. The tables outside need new tops putting on them. The place was quite dirty and needed cleaning. Whilst the service was quick it felt rushed with no care or checking up if everything was ok. The mains came immediately after the starter as if we were being watched through the window. The food was nice though a little pricey but good, went for the BBQ chicken starter, scampi and chips and burger + chips. I hope it survives and manages to pull through I hate seeing pubs exchange to arrogant property developers, I'm aware it's due a refurbishment but the current staff need to step up their game or move on and let someone with passion take it over.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
